About the Artist
Kristina Sanchez-Mills is a fine
artist, sculptor, writer, teacher and illustrator born in Paradisiacal,
Costa Rica. She went to Law school at the University of Costa
Rica and currently runs her own businesses: Kristinas Fine
Art and art studio Artistic Kreations with Kristina, located
in Hixson Tennessee, where she imparts her students with the
skill and passion that characterizes her.
In her own words:
As a fine artist, each original art peace is a bridge by
which I find myself able to liberate my soul and spirit from
the vast emotion transmitted to me by life. My paintings tend
to be a spontaneous response to the inner voice inside me, always
striving to capture the essence of humanity, nature and matters
of the spirit and Faith. As an illustrator I recur to the child
in me, still full of wonder, still believing in
magic and goodness. It is that child that takes over when I am
illustrating. Conveying
wonder, emotions, telling stories full of color and beauty.
As a writer, I love to mix both
reality with fiction, facts and magic, darkness and
light, pain and joy. I approach each story with a deep sense
of reverence; after all, each original story is much like a dream,
a vision that would never be revealed the same way again.
Kristinas artwork has been
exhibited in Costa Rica, Miami, Atlanta, Italy and Spain,
and collectors of her artwork reside across the world. For more
