  • What a wonderful book on CD treatment. The key thing is that Effective CD Counseling inspired me to work harder at counseling and taught me things about CD issues in a nice detailed way.
    -- George Karasievich, Psy.D.
  • I not only enjoyed the writing style, but I also learned a great deal. I believe Effective CD Counseling is a learning tool and can be utilized academically to enhance the treatment of addiction.
    -- Maria-Blanca Natal, M.Ed.
  • Having worked in the CD field for over twenty-five years, I’m familiar with many publications by nationally known authors. Most were helpful in my continuing education and training. None, in my opinion, equals the comprehensiveness, flow and readability of Effective CD Counseling. My only disappointment is that the book was not available to others and to me sooner.
    -- Gilbert Anthony, CD Counselor
  • In working with individuals with a substance abuse/addiction problem, Dr. Hale has developed a great incisiveness of mind, a deep compassion of heart, and one of the best understandings of the dynamics of this sickness and recovery.
-- Yvonne Findley, Director, Springview Recovery Centers, Inc.
